The assistant trainer is Sugar Shane Kitching from Black Water the holder of 4 Australian champion-ship and 6 Queensland tittles having over 120 amateur fights on his records, having trained under the watch full eye of Dessy Upton. The other trainer is Russell Thompson formerly of Warwick and the famous Warwick boxing club under the now sadly passed away Sel Brackin and all his wonderful staff and my own hero My Dad. Russell had 103 amateur fights and a holder of 13 tittles over his 9 ½ years in the ring. So between them both they have had over 230 fights with a win, loss ratio way above average.
